Cloudanix Joins AWS ISV Accelerate Program
Use case · vulnerability prioritization

Not every Critical deserves the same morning.
Prioritize by reachable risk.

CVSS is useful, but it does not know whether the vulnerable workload is running, internet-facing, exploitable today, tied to an admin identity or connected to sensitive data. Cloudanix prioritizes vulnerabilities by exploit recency, reachability, identity blast radius and attack path.

The problem

Vulnerability queues are too large for severity-only triage.

The question is not whether a CVE is bad. It is whether it is exploitable in your environment.

01

CVSS is environment-blind

CVSS does not know if the package is running, exposed, reachable or attached to sensitive data.

02

Scanners disagree

SCA, container, VM and cloud scanners often produce separate queues with no shared owner or risk model.

03

Fresh exploitation changes priority

A vulnerability actively exploited in the wild should jump ahead of older Criticals that are isolated or unreachable.

How it works

Prioritize vulnerabilities by live cloud context.

01

Ingest findings

Cloudanix ingests VM, container, SCA, code and cloud vulnerability findings from native scans and supported third-party tools.

02

Add exploit intelligence

CISA KEV status, EPSS scores, exploit recency, vendor advisories and threat-intel context are joined to each CVE.

03

Add runtime reachability

The graph checks whether the affected package is running, internet-facing, reachable internally, tied to a high-risk identity or on an attack path.

04

Route to owner

Findings are routed to repo, workload, app or business owners with remediation guidance, SLA and evidence.

Why Cloudanix

What changes when this use case runs on one graph.

Fresh-exploit aware

KEV and EPSS changes can reprioritize findings in minutes through Zero-Day Watch.

Runtime and identity aware

Cloudanix knows whether the vulnerable thing is running, reachable and attached to a high-blast-radius identity.

Code-to-cloud ownership

A vulnerable package is linked to repo, image, deployment, runtime workload and owner, so the right team gets the fix.

What Our Users Are Saying

Customer Reviews

Cloudanix is trusted by security leaders worldwide to deliver proactive, reliable, and cutting-edge cloud security.

One day, I changed the password of a root account, and my CTO called me within less than a minute to confirm if I did so. I was not expecting a reaction this quick. He told me Cloudanix alerted him of this password change and that he wanted to confirm as it was a critical security notification. I couldn't believe it!

Managing third-party partner access was once a major concern for our security posture. With Cloudanix JIT Cloud, we've effectively achieved zero third-party risk. We can now grant access confidently, knowing that it is temporary, audited, and automatically revoked, resulting in a 100% reduction in our privileged access exposure.

Implementing Cloudanix JIT internally allowed us to practice what we preach. By eliminating permanent access to our own clouds and databases, we've neutralized the risk of standing privileges, ensuring our own 'keys to the kingdom' are never left exposed.

The problem with permissions is a lot of times, the gaps are left open due to oversights from inside the organization itself. With Cloudanix's CIEM, we get a complete view of user permissions and access. This enables us to update the permissions, reducing the attack surface.

Common questions

Asked plainly.

What is vulnerability prioritization?

Vulnerability prioritization is the process of ranking vulnerabilities by real-world risk, not just severity. Factors include exploitability, active exploitation, runtime presence, exposure, identity blast radius, data sensitivity and business criticality.

How does Cloudanix use KEV and EPSS?

Cloudanix uses CISA KEV and EPSS as exploit-intelligence inputs. KEV indicates known exploitation; EPSS estimates probability of exploitation. Both are joined to runtime and graph context before prioritization.

Does Cloudanix replace Snyk, Dependabot or container scanners?

Cloudanix can provide native scanning, and it can also ingest findings from existing tools. Many teams keep Snyk, Dependabot or registry scanners and use Cloudanix to add cloud reachability, identity and attack-path context.

What makes a vulnerability P1 in Cloudanix?

Common P1 signals include active exploitation, internet reachability, running workload, high-blast-radius identity, sensitive-data path, crown-jewel reach or production compliance scope.

Can Cloudanix route findings to application owners?

Yes. Ownership can come from repo metadata, tags, Kubernetes labels, CMDB data, account hierarchy, service maps and manual assignment.

How does this connect to Zero-Day Watch?

Zero-Day Watch is the fresh-exploit monitoring layer. Vulnerability prioritization is the broader workflow that ranks all vulnerability findings using exploit recency, reachability and business context.
