Privacy notice
What we store
Your email address, the tags you picked, when you consented and which consent text you saw, the IP address at the moment you subscribed, and where you came from — a campaign tag or the name of the site that linked you, when there is one. That is all. There is no account, no password, and no tracking pixel or click tracking in any email. It is held by Cloudanix in the United States.
What we do with it
We send you one digest a week for the stack you picked, and nothing else. Subscribing to Zero is not consent to marketing outreach; nothing here is passed to a sales system.
People you add
Anyone you add receives a single confirmation email naming you as the inviter, and nothing further unless they click it. They can see the stack, never the other addresses on the list.
Leaving
Every email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately. The owner of a digest can also delete the whole thing, recipients included, from the manage page. Unconfirmed sign-ups are removed after seven days.
In each case your email address and IP address are deleted at once. What remains is a SHA-256 fingerprint of your address, the tags on the digest, where you came from, and when and under which consent text you subscribed. The fingerprint can be matched against an address someone already knows, so we treat it as personal data too. If mail to an address bounces or is reported as spam, the address is deleted and its fingerprint kept so that it is never mailed again.
Sender
Digests are sent by Cloudanix from mail.zero.cloudanix.com. Cloudanix, 450 N Mathilda Ave, Sunnyvale CA 94085.
