Database Activity Monitoring (DAM)

Traditional DAM forces a bad trade: ship your data to a vendor for visibility, or keep sovereignty and stay blind. Cloudanix DAM does neither — it deploys inside your own cloud account, so your data never leaves your environment, and audit trails are stored in your own storage.

  • Prevention, not just detection — policy-violating queries are blocked before they execute, and sensitive columns are dynamically masked based on the user's role and context.
  • Browser-based secure IDE — engineers query through an audited interface instead of shared credentials; MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, Snowflake, Redshift, and more, including RDS, Aurora, Azure SQL, Cloud SQL, and on-premises databases.
  • Complete audit trail — every query and session is logged to your cloud storage: who queried which table and column, when, and who approved the access.
  • Built-in JIT — database access is time-bound with Slack/Teams approval workflows and automatic expiry (see JIT).
  • Privacy-first anomaly detection — only metadata reaches the Cloudanix control plane; ML-based threat detection runs without your data ever being transmitted.

Onboarding is containerized and takes minutes: deploy in your account, define access and masking policies, connect your databases.
