What it actually does

Out-of-bounds read in XGetImage triggered by crafted image type and geometry parameters, allowing remote X servers to read beyond allocated buffers and potentially escalate privileges.

How an attack unfolds

How to fix it

Upgrade gitea (Bitnami) to version 1.12.6 or later, which incorporates libX11 >= 1.6.4.

Confirm gitea package version is at least 1.12.6 and that the embedded libX11 is 1.6.4 or newer via package manager or binary inspection.
