What it actually does
Incorrect use of kfree instead of kvfree on a snapshots structure allocated via kvzalloc in bcachefs, resulting in invalid page access and kernel oops during bch2_fs_release on filesystem unmount.

How an attack unfolds
A local attacker mounts a bcachefs filesystem then triggers unmount, causing bch2_fs_release to invoke the wrong deallocator on kvzalloc memory and produce a page fault during kfree.
How to fix it
Upgrade the Linux kernel to version 6.7.5 or apply commit 56590678791119b9a655202e49898edfb9307271 from the stable git repository; reboot after update.
How to confirm the fix worked
Confirm running kernel is 6.7.5 or newer; perform controlled mount and unmount of a bcachefs filesystem and verify absence of page-fault oops in dmesg.
