What it actually does

The qla2xxx driver calls smp_processor_id() from preemptible context inside qla_nvme_post_cmd (and uses queue_work_on elsewhere), triggering a BUG when CONFIG_DEBUG_PREEMPT is enabled; the root cause is unsafe processor-ID access under the NVMe-FC async workqueue path.

How to fix it

Upgrade linux packages to the listed fixed versions: Debian 11 to 5.10.70-1, Debian 12/13/14 to 5.14.6-1, or mainline to commit 1a541999f31fcb10ea50eba2a563e6c451fd5c7d; replace queue_work_on calls with queue_work and switch to raw_smp_processor_id throughout the driver.
