What is a billable resource?

To simplify the billing, we count only few types of resources. We keep a daily count and generate the invoice at the end of the month picking the max count for the month.

Why a resource based pricing?

Resource based pricing allow our users to pay proportional to the size of their infrastructure. In other words, our users don't have to pay an exorbitant amount for security, which many a times sadly pushes them to chose between "an application" and "a secure application".

We are Open Source contributors. We know how crucial it is to support the community to support the innovation. But what if my procurement/ finance team needs a fixed cost for their budgeting requirement?

We definitely know this is required in many organizations. We have an Enterprise plan to accomodate this requirement for you.

Do you have an annual billing?

Our Enterprise plan is annual billing. If you prefer annual billing for the other plans, we can discuss that. You get additional discount if you opt for annual billing cycle.

I do not know how many resources I have in my cloud. How can I know what will be my monthly spend on Cloudanix?

First, we have made sure that only representative resources participate in your billing. It can help you do a quick math. Second, we offer 2 weeks of free trial where you can connect your cloud accounts with Cloudanix via READ-ONLY access. During this trial, we count your resources and also give you an indicative pricing structure. You have 2 complete weeks not only to evaluate the platform but also to understand your spend with Cloudanix.

How long does it take to start using Cloudanix?

5 minutes. Yeah, it's that fast. Cloudanix is a SaaS service. We connect to your cloud account in 1-click with the least privileges required. There are no agents to install nor any code modification required.

What is the definition of a cloud account?

In case of AWS, an account is AWS Account. In case of Azure, it's a Subscription. In GCP, it's called a Project.

What compliance frameworks does Cloudanix cover?

We have mappings with APRA, CIS, HIPAA, ISO 27001, MAS, NIST, PCI, SOC2, CIS Microsoft Azure Foundations. In addition, our experts have also created a sub-set of "Cloudanix Best Practices" list which you can enable. You get the option to choose the compliance families which apply for your business.

Do I need to change any code or install any agent to use Cloudanix?

What is a Workspace?

Workspace is a logical separation with it own set of users, pricing plans, payment options and Cloud accounts connected. Your single login can have multiple workspaces. It helps you organize and maintain isolation between different teams, lines of business, vendors and your cloud accounts.
